Bull

Toro, whose name translates to "Bull" in Spanish, is a young con man entrenched in the criminal underworld of Torremolinos, a popular town in Málaga, Andalusia, southern Spain. He is the trusted right-hand man of Romano, a formidable mob boss who wields significant influence over the local illicit activities. Toro's life is deeply intertwined with crime, and he has gained a reputation for his cunning and resourcefulness in executing petty scams and more elaborate schemes.

Despite his involvement in illegal enterprises, Toro harbors desires to leave his life of crime behind in search of a more legitimate existence. His aspirations for a fresh start are interrupted by a failed last con, an event that culminates in tragedy when one of his brothers loses his life. The failure of this final scam leads Toro to be sentenced to prison, marking a turning point in his life. The incident underscores the perilous nature of his lifestyle and the consequences of his criminal activities.

After serving five years in prison, Toro is released and attempts to rebuild his life. At this stage, Romano begins to perceive Toro as a liability, especially after discovering that López, Toro's older brother, has been siphoning money from Romano’s tourism business. This betrayal prompts Romano to retaliate by kidnapping Diana, López's young daughter, demanding she be returned along with the stolen funds. Romano's ruthless tactics reveal the brutal hierarchy of his criminal empire and his willingness to use violence to settle disputes.

Faced with this crisis, López seeks out Toro for assistance, knowing that Toro has connections and the skills to help. Toro, now working as a touristic driver, is eager to regain his freedom in order to marry his girlfriend Estrella.
